Saving our breasts one walk at a time, @LeahJones, for the second year in a row, is doing the Chicago 3-day walk-a-thon. This year, unlike last year, Leah has a team called the Titterati, made up of fantastic local dames, @leahjones, @thefemgeek and @chemgk, all committed to SAVING our BREASTS. You can, and must follow them on Twitter, @titterati. Currently, the Titterati team is raising money for boobalicious cause.
Economically things aren’t a walk in the park, we know. Okay, they downight suck. Here’s the thing, contributing even a teeny tiny bit goes suuuuuuuuuuuuch a long way. After donating, though it was a smaller amount than we hoped, we felt like we were making a concerted effort to save our breasts and it made us feel warm and tingly all over, truly a delightful feeling. Please donate to this necessary cause.
PS: On Monday, April 20th, 2009, @LeahJones will be sharing her Authentic Expression and a boobalicious video about the 3-day walk-a-thon.
The Pilcrow Lit Fest is near and dear to my heart, not just because I attended last year, but for many reasons. Pilcrow celebrates indie press and educates writers about how to leverage the best of new media to get their work out into the world. The Pilcrow Lit Fest is also involved in local causes that raise money for charities related to books and education, and so much more. Donating was a great feeling, we loved it. Again, we wish we could’ve done more. We encourage you to donate, you’ll feel lovely afterwards having contributed to this very important festival in a truly magnificent city. Follow @PilcrowLitFest on Twitter.
The Pilcrow Lit Fest is happening for 3-days in May. Please donate! They need the money, it will help a lot.
PS: Amy Guth’s Authentic Expression was posted last week, it’s as cool and hip as she is.
I was very happy to be DM’d on twitter by @realityqueen09 and learn about a new cause I knew nothing about, Use Twitter, End Poverty, though I don’t know much about this organization, I sure an interested to hear more. Check it out and let us know what you think.
PSS: Do not forget to read MauiGirl’s Authentic Expression posted yesterday, it’s as lovely as she is.
